Berry Boxes | 24x24 inch Diptych; Individual panels 24x12 inches
“Berry Boxes” is a contemporary abstract diptych that explores movement, balance, and fragmentation through layered geometric forms, expressive mark-making, and a richly textured palette of deep burgundy, ochre, rose, and violet. Inspired by the visual rhythm of stacked forms, collected objects, and the imperfect beauty of repetition, the paired panels create an energetic dialogue between structure and spontaneity.
The composition invites the viewer to move visually between the two canvases, discovering moments of harmony, interruption, and connection. Floating shapes and gestural lines evoke both architectural grids and organic pathways, while the expansive white space introduces lightness, contrast, and breathing room within the composition. Influenced by Mid-Century Modern aesthetics and Abstract Expressionism, “Berry Boxes” brings warmth, sophistication, and visual depth to contemporary interiors.
Designed to function as both a unified statement piece and two complementary works, this diptych is ideal for modern homes, offices, and curated art collections. Its elongated vertical format creates a striking presence in entryways, dining spaces, hallways, and corporate environments.
Created using professional-grade materials on stretched canvas, each panel arrives ready to hang and does not require framing.
I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work at juried galleries, museums, and fine art festivals throughout the Midwest, including the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, Middletown Arts Center, Richmond Art Museum, Oxford Community Arts Center, and ADC Fine Arts of Cincinnati, as well as nationally recognized juried art fairs across the region.
